I never mentioned in my last post that I'm pregnant already. I was kind of embarrassed and almost hated to admit it. I've been talking about wanting another baby since McKayla was a baby, so it really isn't a surprise that I got pregnant after being married for just a month. BUT, it honestly was not planned at all! We really wanted to wait until Parker got into OCS. We also wanted to wait until enough time had past that I wouldn't be due around Kirby and Stella's wedding. Well, I'm due 20 days before the wedding........I'm do May 6th.
For a while I was actually a little bummed about the timing of this pregnancy. But the more I thought about it, the more I felt bad for feeling bad. I would never ever want my baby to think I wasn't happy about their arrival! Because that couldn't be farther from the truth. I am very excited to have another baby, I'm excited to hold a little baby again. So I started focusing on that, instead of stressing about the timing.
If all goes as planned, I will be quitting my job at the end of April. Parker won't be going to OCS until June, which really works out perfectly, he'll be here for a month with the baby, before he has to leave.
McKayla is at a great age, she is independent and I know she will be a big help to me. She is extremely excited. She tickles my stomach every night before bed. I just love that little girl so much, and being pregnant brings back so many memories of when she was a baby. I'm constantly hugging and kissing her, more than usual. She's growing up too fast. She's a freakin' 2nd grader!!
So there. I've blogged about my pregnancy....I've been meaning to do that for a while now. I'm 17 weeks and 4 days pregnant. We will be finding out the sex of the baby January 4th. Hopefully I will blog again before then.

LOTS of updates
Wow I haven't posted in here since JUNE!! So much has happened. I'll break it up into categories.
Townhouse
We spent about 2 weeks fixing the townhouse. Painting it, putting down new carpet and linoleum, putting in new light fixtures and toilet seats, pulling down wallpaper, OH YEAH and patching the walls from all the termite holes!! Luckily the termites were gone and all of that was old. But it was a lot of work! It was so much fun moving in though, and finally having a place of our own. It looks so much better now. It looks brand new. I'll post before and after pictures whenever I get the after pictures taken. Its a great neighborhood, McKayla is outside riding bikes with the little girls that live around us every night! I'm gonna be sad to leave it.
Wedding
Well I was still working on things the morning of the wedding!!! I took on way too many projects. But I don't see what I would have done different either because I loved how everything turned out. If I were to do anything different, I would have done MORE because I didn't get to do everything I wanted.
Honeymoon
OMG I LOVED our cruise. That was the best vacation I've ever been on. We had a blast!! Parker and I have decided we will be "cruisers." We want to go on cruises all over the world. I can't say enough good things about it. It was just so much fun!! Here are some pictures from the cruise.
This is what we saw when we first stepped on the ship.
This is out on our balcony as we were sailing out of the port in Ft. Lauderdale.
Our first breakfast with an ocean view. Beautiful!
Parker played in a paddle ball tournament.
Some of our shore excursions.
Helmet diving. (Crazy fun, I'd love to do that again!)
ATV tour of the island of St Maarten! That was really cool too, until they took us to a nude beach
Every night we ate dinner and watched a movie on the top deck. The Princess Cruise ships are the only ships with a movie screen on the decks.
One night they even played Rocky Horror Picture Show!!
Here is our ship, I circled about where our room was. And the next picture shows how much bigger our ship was compared to the other ships. We really made the right choice with the picking the Princess. (Thank you Travel channel!!!)
Then the last picture was from the formal night we had. It was fun getting all dressed up and eating really nice food....for free! That was my favorite thing, eating in a restaurant and not having to pay a bill afterwards.
I have a lot more to say but I think I've made this post long enough!

Wow its been a while
Man I haven't posted in forever!!!!
Well I have a new car. Its a 2005 Ford Escape. I love it. The only thing I wish it had was a sunroof and tinted windows. But you can't have everything. Here it is.
Its a nice car. Its starting to lose the new car smell though. :(
Lets see I'm only a MONTH away from the wedding!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe how close it is. And I am SO not ready!! AT ALL! I finally got the invitations out, that was a huge weight that has been lifted. I'm so glad they are out. I've heard nothing but compliments about them though. Everyone really likes how they turned out. So thats really good that makes me happy.
Now, I need to work on the rehearsal invites and then the programs. Sheesh its never ending. I don't know how I'm going to pay for all this.

My Jetta
Well my Jetta decided to call it quits on me last week. The transmission died. It actually happened at the best time though. Mom was coming into pick up McKayla and Jack from school, and on the way in there was a huge accident that held her up. Kelly happened to be in Lynchburg and decided she'd just stay and pick the kids up. So she did. Her and mom went to the ice skating rink and let the kids ice skate until I got out of work. I left work and as I was passing the YMCA, my car stopped responding to my gas pedal. It just quit moving. Well, Holly and Whitney just happened to be getting out of their car at the Y and saw me. So I waved them over there and they helped me push my car out of the street. We got it towed and I took Mom and Dad's Expedition, and mom rode back to Brookneal with Kelly.
The car was towed to the VW dealership and they told me the next morning that I had 3 options.
1.) Get a new transmission which would cost about $3,000.00
2.) Clean the filters and replace the fluids, but it may not fix the problem that would cost about $300.00
3.) There was a guy there who is interested in buying it from us.
So we decided to go with option #2 and see if it fixed it. Well they called me and said they fixed it and drove it up the street and when they pulled back into the dealership the transmission fell. ??? I didn't know the transmission could fall, well anyway it turned out we would have to buy a brand new one. So we decided to sell it to the guy who wants it. He offered us $500, which after the $300 we owe the VW place and the $75 I paid to have it towed I'd only come out of this with about $100. Oh well.
I told dad I was looking into maybe getting a Ford Escape. Well sheesh, dad had been on the internet all weekend looking for a car for me and he found one!! He found a 2005 Ford Escape with only 11,000 miles on it. It's a little pricey, but Mr Inman was able to talk them down I think. I can't remember exactly how much it is but I think it might be about $13,000? Well mom and dad had to go out of town this week. So we can't really go forward in buying it right now, but we do plan to start working out a deal next week. So I'll be getting a new townhouse, getting a new car and soon I will be getting a new husband. SO much is changing for me right now! I'm very happy about it. I can't wait to start driving my new car!!!!!!!!!!!

Townhouse update
Wow ok So Glenn kept dragging his feet with the townhouse and Mrs Mills wrote up 3 brand new offers and told him to pick one by the end of the week or we were moving on and wanted our deposit back. Well at the end of the week Glenn decided he wasn't going to accept any of our offers and in fact he wanted to raise the price on his townhouse. BAHAHAHAHAHAHA good luck with that one Glenn.
There is another townhouse right across the street, its the exact same layout as Glenns. It needs more work, but the price on it was just lowered. It was lowered from $79,900, to $74,000. It needs all new carpets and new paint, but the appliances are good and the bathrooms are actually nicer then Glenns. So we put in an offer for $68,000 and it was accepted!! The paper work has been signed and we are just waiting for the loan to come in so we can close. We hope to close in the next 2 weeks. Then we will have all new carpets put in. McKayla and I will go ahead and move in and then we will start painting the walls. The walls will be a slower process. Thats not something that HAS to be done immediately so we'll do that after we move in. I'm so excited to have an upstairs. This will be the closest thing to a normal home that I've ever lived in by myself. I'm so excited!!

Catching up
Where do I start? SO much has happened.
WEDDING PLANS
Plans have been going good. We found a church and that is booked. We booked West Manor. We got a Trolley instead of a limo. :( I really wanted the H2 Hummerzine, but it was just way too expensive. But I was hoping maybe we could get an H2 hummer (normal size) just for us to drive off in after the reception. I've been on theknot.com 24/7 getting GREAT ideas!! I have so many ideas I won't even be able to use them all. But I've been having so much fun gathering ideas. I bought my first item for the bridemaids gifts last night! They are little magnet pen or pencil holders for the refridgerator. Only a $1.00 at Target. There was also some other things i wanted to get at Target that were monogramed but I couldn't find everyone's letter.
WEDDING DRESS
David's Bridal called and said my dress was in. So we went back to pick it up and I told them that after I saw pictures of me in it, I hated it.
So they told me I could exchange it. I told her that I was looking for more of an A-line dress that had lots of sparkle and detail and had no tulle on the outside of it. Basically opposite of the dress I originally got! And we tried on about 6 dresses and each one I told her what I liked and didn't like about all of them. Well she had one dress that I really didn't like and I said I don't like all the embroidery on the skirt, but I love the bodice because of all the detail and sparkle. She perked up and said "I just remembered, I have one more to show you!" She went and got it and I put it on and I KNEW that was the dress! I'm so glad she remembered she had it.
It's a beautiful dress. I can't wait to wear it again! So that is a big relief!! Oh and instead of having red on the outside of the dress, everyone seems to be doing that these days, I'm going to dye my tulle red so guests will only see it every now and then.
TOWNHOUSE
We are just waiting for the contract to be written up. We already told him what rooms we wanted painted. He was supposed to meet with his lawyer this week to go over the contract, so we're just waiting to hear back from him. I hope we can sign the papers this weekend! I can't wait to move in there.
Everything seems to be going good now nothing bad to report, except my computer at home has been acting funny. It keeps bringing up an error message. grrrr that stupid thing is still new!!

Keep forgetting
Grrr I keep forgetting that I have this thing!!
Soooooooo. Its now February, time is really going by fast! I can't believe I'm only 5 months away from my wedding and I JUST NOW found a ceremony location and reception site. That sure is a weight off my back. I'm really not sure about my wedding dress though. I was content with until Tracy sent me pictures of me in it and seeing it again I was a little disappointed. Oh well, its a beautiful dress.
Parker and I started townhouse hunting. We found one that we LOVED but we just can't afford to buy it straight out. The mortgage payment would have been way to high for us to handle. So Mrs. Mills found a townhouse that was actually about the same amount, but the guy seemed willing to work out a deal so that we could afford the monthly payments. So Mrs. Mills put together a package and made him an offer yesterday. I really hope he accepts it, because I'm kind of excited to move in there. I wasn't at first. At first I didn't like it because it wasn't the other townhouse that I wanted. But Parker really liked it, so I started focusing on all the good things about this townhouse for example:
-3 bathrooms
-walk-in- closet
-big closet space in the kitchen
-storage shed
-end unit
-3 bedrooms
-AFFORDABLE
-no major fix-it jobs
So now we are just waiting to hear back. Hopefully he accepts the offer Mrs. Mills wrote up. If he does, McKayla and I will be moving March 1st! YAY!!

Wow I haven't posted in forever!!
Christmas was great! I hate how quickly it ends. I'm really happy with all the gifts I got for everyone and I LOVE that everyone loved them. I can't wait until next Christmas.
Now that its January 2006 I'm starting to feel the pressure from the wedding. We haven't made any real decisions yet. Well we've made decisions but they keep getting shot down for some reason or other. So now we REALLY need crack down and start making some serious decisions. Like WHERE TO GET MARRIED!!! AAAHHHH I have 7 months left before the wedding. I need to lose some weight and find a dress, oh brother, I'm dreading that.
