Season's Change

Today was the awards ceremony for cheerleading. I'm relieved to have my Monday's and Saturday's back. But I'm sad the season is over. I had so much fun with those girls. When Kim asked me if I would like to coach back in October, I said yes very reluctantly. I really didn't want to do it. I only said yes because she put me on the spot. But I am SO glad I did it. I can't wait until next year. I wish I could have all the same girls. They were great!

Church. I'm so glad we have found a church. I really miss belonging to a community of people that come together to worship. I just love how welcoming all the people at Walnut Hills are. I feel like they REALLY care if we are there or not. If we miss a couple of weeks, Danner sends us a note saying she hopes everything is alright and hopes to see us next week. It's so nice that they notice if we aren't there. I really would like to get more involved and meet more people.

Mason loves cars. He just loves them! We watch the movie Cars, at least once a day! When he was a small baby Parker would turn Nascar on for him and he would actually sit there and watch it. He would get excited about watching the cars and he couldn't even crawl yet. Well since Parker has started turning on these races, we have actually started get interested in the races. I can't believe I am admitting this. I am starting to enjoy racing...I used to complain about how boring it was and couldn't believe people get so crazy for cars that drive in circles. I am turning into one of those people. Well I'm not CRAZY for it or anything, but I am finding enjoyment in watching it. I have watched it enough to know that I love Dale Earnhart Jr. and hate Kyle Busch! In fact we are watching it right now and complaining about Kyle Busch leading the race. 7 laps to go, Jr., definitely not going to win this one.

OK thats enough for today. I'm signing off!
